About the event: This event will explore many current issues facing tribal justice systems when addressing civil matters in Indian Country. Session topics shall include, but not be limited to, discussions on Federal and Tribal Case law impacting tribal civil jurisdiction, the intersection of economic development, tribal codes and tribal courts, suits against the Tribe, Domestic relations cases and several other topics relevant in tribal civil court.
