The United States Department of Justice’s National Indian Country Training Initiative (NICTI) is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring the Criminal Jurisdiction in Indian Country Seminar. The seminar will be held November 28-30, 2017, at the National Advocacy Center in Columbia, South Carolina. Travel and lodging accommodations will be paid for by the Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Education.
This class is for law enforcement officers who fulfill all other BIA minimum requirements to receive a SLEC, and
for USAO personnel who have responsibility under the TLOA to teach the CJIC class but may not have experience with the class format and materials.
Nominations are due by October 20, 2017.
