Free Training from NCVLI: “Ethics in Victim Services”- January 26, 2017

The National Crime Victim Law Institute (NCVLI) invites participants to register for a free training- “Ethics in Victim Services” on Thursday, January 26, 2017. Holistic victim services can be accomplished most effectively when professionals better understand each other’s rules and perspectives, and this training will help practitioners begin to familiarize themselves with these issues. Professional ethics will be discussed from the perspective of social work, victim advocacy, and victim lawyers. Professionals in each of these disciplines will then discuss two hypotheticals, focusing on ethical issues and drawing on their unique backgrounds and experiences to demonstrate the application of some of these principles.
