Free Wellness Court Training from Tribal Law and Policy Institute- September 12–14, 2017

The Tribal Healing to Wellness Court Enhancement Training is the preeminent national training opportunity for tribal problem-solving courts. The Enhancement Training is free, and all materials, including referenced publications and PowerPoint slides, will be posted and available to all attendees on www.WellnessCourts.org. Wellness Court teams are encouraged to attend as a team, including the Judge, Prosecutor, Defense Counselor, Coordinator, Case Manager, Probation Officer, Law Enforcement Officer, Treatment Provider, Behavioral Health Representative, Child Welfare Representative, Cultural Resource Provider, and all other team members. In addition, Advisory and/or Steering Committee members are welcome to join, including Tribal Council members. Each year, the training has multiple presentations/workshops on Family Wellness Courts which focus on the broader question of how Wellness Courts can help heal the victims of substance abusers.
