The United States Department of Justice has decided to extend the application deadline for the Fiscal Year 2019 Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation (CTAS) from 9 p.m. EST on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019 to 9 p.m. EST on Tuesday, March 12, 2019.
This extension provides applicants an additional two weeks to apply. Applications submitted after 9 p.m. EST on March 12, 2019, will not be considered for funding.
The decision to extend the deadline was based on careful examination and consideration of a number of factors determined to have prohibited and/or delayed would-be applicants from completing and submitting high-quality application packages. Included among those factors is the partial federal government shutdown and a number of inclement weather days, both in Washington, D.C., and throughout the country.
Also, the Department of Justice Response Center offers programmatic and general assistance with the solicitation requirements. The Response Center can be reached via phone at 800-421-6770 or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. The Response Center’s hours of operation are Monday–Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.
