Register Now for the 2016 Women Working in Corrections and Juvenile Justice Conference!

Since 1985, corrections professionals have been attending the national conference for Women Working in Corrections and Juvenile Justice. The conference is held in even numbered years and is hosted by different states. Kentucky is proud to have been selected as the host state for the 2016 conference to be held at the Louisville Marriott Downtown in Louisville, KY October 2-5, 2016. In a nod to Kentucky’s rich thoroughbred racing history, the conference theme is Setting the Pace for Corrections.

The 2016 conference will highlight women’s role in the fields of Corrections and Juvenile Justice. In recent years, women have been setting the pace for corrections professionals in areas such as PREA, re-entry programming, mental health issues, substance abuse issues, and gender and cultural diversity.  The conference aims to address these and many other significant issues including current trends, leadership, training, education and personal and professional growth and will provide networking opportunities for women in corrections and juvenile justice.
