The National Institute on Drug Abuse reports that every day, more than 115 Americans die after overdosing on opioids. (Feb 2018). The opioid crisis is affecting all areas of the country and has reached epidemic proportions in many. In response, the Current Drug Trends Symposium is bringing together professionals from law enforcement, courts, and the medical community to address this on a local, regional, and national level.
