The Remember My Name (RMN) project began 24 years ago in collaboration with Ms. Magazine. Since that time, the RMN register, managed by the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV), has compiled over 10,000 names of those who have died as a direct result of domestic violence. NCADV wants to ensure all states have representation on our upcoming 2017 poster. Please consider submitting the names, ages, and states of origin of any victims who were killed by an abuser in 2017 to the RMN registry for inclusion in the 2017 poster, to be released in October 2018. These include direct victims as well as children and bystanders. We do not include those that self-harm or who were perpetrators of violence. Please forward this request to any agency, program, or shelter that may be able to assist. NCADV asks that a separate form for each victim is submitted to keep the database accurate. Information can be submitted by visiting ncadv.org/remember-my-name, clicking “Send NCADV Information on a Victim,” and completing the form. Please note the deadline for inclusion on 2017’s poster is May 15th, 2018.
