Resources from the National Crime Victim Research and Treatment Center at MUSC

Check out the National Crime Victim Research and Treatment Center at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) funded through a Cooperative Grant with the Office for Victims of Crime, U.S. Department of Justice. The online Resource Center includes six “buckets” that are filled with excellent resources that focus on Readiness – Response – Resilience relevant to mass violence incidents. Resources include: Prepare your Community; Help Survivors; Self-help; Rebuild your Community; Science about Mass Violence; and Other Large-scale Crimes. A tab is also available for “MEDIA” that contains great tips for journalists, survivors and advocates on effective media relations during and after mass violence crimes.
