The Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) released a new online application and claims tracking portal for the International Terrorism Victim Expense Reimbursement Program (ITVERP). Since 2006, ITVERP has been providing financial support to victims of international terrorism for specific out-of-pocket expenses they may have incurred as a direct result of their victimization. Eligible claimants can now file ITVERP applications online, upload supporting documentation, and track claims from start to finish. Paper applications will continue to be available for those who prefer them. Case managers are also available to assist with online or paper applications.
Visit the ITVERP site for more information about the program, including eligibility criteria and the claims process.
