In this month’s e-bulletin, check out the latest news from OVC to include links to two resources: the U.S. Resource Map and the VictimLaw database. The U.S. Resource map offers state/territory specific crime victim service information to include Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) State contacts, events, and other resources. The VictimLaw portal is a searchable database of victims’ rights legal provisions including federal, state, and territorial statutes, tribal laws, state constitutional amendments, court rules, administrative code provisions, and summaries of related court decisions and attorney general opinions. Also be sure to check out the OVC News section for more information about the upcoming National Crime Victims Right Week (NCVRW) in Washington D.C in April 2019 .
February’s e-bulletin features resources and training events related to teen dating violence awareness, addressing sexual assault in tribal communities, suicide on tribal lands, human trafficking, forensic medical evidence collection, and much more!
