“The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP) Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is seeking applications for funding An Academic-based Training Initiative to Improve Police Responses for People with Mental Illness and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. This program furthers the Department’s mission by providing training and technical assistance (TTA) to law enforcement and other criminal justice agencies and their behavioral health service partners to improve responses and reduce crime and recidivism associated with people who have mental illnesses and intellectual and developmental disabilities.” Click here for more information or to apply.
