Establishment of a National Center on Restorative Justice

“The United States Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, National Institute of Justice is seeking applications for funding the establishment of a National Center on Restorative Justice (Center). The Center will educate and train the next generation of juvenile and criminal justice leaders and support rigorous scientific research on the efficacy and effectiveness of restorative justice approaches. This program furthers the Department’s mission by sponsoring research to provide objective, independent, evidence-based knowledge and tools to meet the challenges of crime and justice, particularly at the state and local levels.” Applications are due August 12, 2019.
