Join the National Indian Child Welfare Association (NICWA) in Portland for a June Training Institute

In just over a month, NICWA will gather for three training topics at its June Training Institute: Qualified Expert Witness (QEW), Understanding ICWA, and Positive Indian Parenting (PIP). Don’t miss out on this opportunity to be trained in one of these educational trainings. The QEW training will prepare you on how to provide QEW testimony in ICWA cases as well as the practice issues involved. Understanding ICWA will train you with information on the legal requirements of ICWA and give a solid basis of understanding to implement ICWA effectively in your work. PIP, a culturally based parenting program, is a training of trainers which will equip you to facilitate PIP in your community.
Register now while spaces remain. Register before the early bird deadline of May 16 to receive discounts. Don’t forget to ask about discounts for NICWA members!
You can find all information including a registration link, sample agendas, course objectives, and hotel reservation information on the training institute webpage.
