In 2017, the COPS Office selected the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) to implement and manage the Officer Safety and Wellness (OSW) Technical Assistance Project, an initiative that included providing support and expertise to law enforcement agencies with respect to their employee wellness services.
This publication presents findings based on PERF’s work with a preliminary group of agencies and recommendations that will be valuable to other agencies seeking to develop or grow their own wellness programming.
