Do you know a law enforcement officer who has demonstrated outstanding acts of bravery in the line of duty? If so, don’t forget to nominate them for the 2020 Congressional Badge of Bravery (CBOB).

Each year, the OJP Bureau of Justice Assistance recognizes federal, state and local law enforcement officers for their exceptional acts of bravery demonstrated throughout their communities. Recipients are honored by the U.S. Attorney General during an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.

Each nomination must include the following to be considered: Electronic CBOB nomination form submitted through the online portal; Official report or documentation of the qualifying incident from an appointing authority or submitting agency; Statements by witnesses or individuals with personal knowledge of the event.
