Training Opportunity: September 27-30, 2021. The Bureau of Indian Affairs Office of Justice Services will hold a virtual training entitled “The Indian Country Victim Assistance Training Program (ICVATP).” ICVATP was developed and offered for new tribal victim advocates working in or for American Indian or Alaska Native tribal victim assistance programs. The goal of the ICVATP virtual academy is to assist Tribal programs in the development of comprehensive skill-based advocates by enhancing their knowledge, skills, and abilities to work in the field of victim services.
