Excited to announce the launch of the 39th Annual Protecting Our Children Conference call for presentations for their first-ever hybrid conference. The conference will take place in-person in Seattle, Washington, and virtually from Sunday, April 11, to Wednesday, April 14, 2021. Presenters will be able to choose to present either online or in-person.

Their call for presentations is a time when Indian child welfare professionals share the important work they do in their communities to better the futures of Native youth and families. This year, they want to fill around 50 90-minute workshop spaces in a new way during the conference with plans to incorporate both virtual and in-person elements to their training. This is all pending safety and close monitoring of the situation around the pandemic.

Apply now and submit a presentation before October 30. Please reach out to training@nicwa.org with any further questions.

Find out more information on their call for presentations webpage.
