Resource: The Southwest Center for Law & Policy presents “Intersection of Domestic Violence and Child Victimization in Indian Country.” There is continuing fear and distrust of state and federal governments, law enforcement, child protective services agencies, and courts because of the historical trauma associated with the removal of Native children from their families during the boarding school era.
