Just Released: “Financial Fraud in the United States, 2017” This report details the prevalence of seven types of personal financial fraud victimization and the patterns of reporting fraud to police and other authorities. It includes statistics on the characteristics of personal financial fraud victims and describes the consequences resulting from fraud incidents. Findings are from the 2017 Supplemental Fraud Survey, the first data collection of its kind under the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS).
