In partnership with you, NICWA accomplished incredible things last year. NICWA recently released its most recent Annual Report highlighting their work on behalf of Native children and families. Some highlights include:
• NICWA hosted its first-ever virtual conference that brought together 917 advocates for Native children and families.
• Through the Request for Information (RFI) program, 648 relatives and community members navigated the child welfare system, accessed meaningful services and referrals, and advocated for their relative children.
• Over 200 trainers were trained to deliver the Positive Indian Parenting curriculum in their community to help parents reclaim traditional child-rearing practices and blend traditional values with contemporary skills.
