Today, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), funded by OJJDP, launched the Safety Pledge website. NCMEC partnered with the White House and Department of Justice on this new campaign to combat online child exploitation. This initiative will provide free resources to help parents, educators, and caregivers learn more about the risks that children face online and how to respond safely. The website contains internet safety resources and a Safety Pledge that individuals can digitally sign, formalizing their commitment to safeguarding children online.
