Resource: The National Sexual Violence Resource Center Presents “Working with Male Survivors of Sexual Violence “.

Nearly one in four men report experiencing unwanted sexual contact at some point in their lifetime. Yet many face obstacles to finding support. Last year, they published an online toolkit on Working with Male Survivors of Sexual Violence to assist advocates at sexual assault centers in helping to remove these obstacles.

The toolkit includes an organization assessment, infographics, podcasts, resource lists, and more. They’re happy to share with you that NSVRC has been funded to continue doing this work through the Office on Violence Against Women Technical Assistance Program. In doing this work, NSVRC builds the capacity of community-based victim service organizations to effectively reach and serve men who are survivors of sexual assault and harassment.
