National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center is hosting a Virtual Medicine Run/Walk: Safety and Sovereignty for Our Sisters

Thursday, November 26, 2020, to Sunday, November 29, 2020

In honor of Native American Heritage Month in November and Native American Heritage Day (11/28), NIWRC invites you to join their Virtual Medicine Run/Walk for Safety and Sovereignty for Our Sisters. To join in this free event, NIWRC asks that you:

  • Wear red to raise awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQ relatives.
  • Run or walk for whatever distance you choose following CDC guidelines between 11/26-11/29.
  • Share a Facebook/Instagram story or photo of yourself on social media after completing your run/walk using the hashtag #SafetyforMySisters and #SovereigntyIsSacred.
